What you give us
When you request a Groundwork Audit, book a call, or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number, business name and website. The audit form also looks up your business on Google and saves its public listing details (name, address, rating, review count, photo count and categories). This goes into our customer management system (HighLevel) so we can prepare your audit and get back to you.
If you call us and Ryan can't pick up, an AI phone assistant may answer. Those calls are transcribed and may be recorded in the same system. If we text you, you can reply STOP at any time.
What we collect automatically
- Analytics. Google Analytics records which pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location and how you found the site.
- Ad measurement. Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel and the OpenAI ads pixel tell us whether our ads led to a visit, a call, a booking or an audit request. Meta and Google may also use visits to show our ads to people who have been to this site.
- How you arrived. The ad or link that brought you (campaign tags and Google or Meta click IDs), your landing page and the page that referred you. If you request an audit, this is saved with it.
- Ad-click fraud checks. When you arrive by clicking one of our Google ads, we record your IP address, network provider, approximate city and browser along with that ad click, and whether it led to a call, booking or audit request. We use this only to find and block repeated invalid clicks on our ads. These records are deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Hosting and security. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data to deliver pages, block attacks and provide basic traffic statistics.
- Embedded maps. The Google Map in our footer is served by Google, which may set its own cookies.
How we use it
To answer you, prepare your audit, provide the services you hire us for, measure which marketing works, and keep our ads from being wasted on invalid clicks.
Who processes it
Only the providers that run this site and our tools: Cloudflare (hosting), HighLevel (forms, customer records, scheduling, phone and text), Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps and the business lookup), Meta and OpenAI (ad measurement). We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
- Control ad personalization in Google's My Ad Center and Meta's ad preferences.
- Email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
How long we keep it
Audit requests and customer records stay in our system while we work together or until you ask us to delete them. Ad-click fraud records are deleted after 180 days. Analytics and ad data follow the retention settings of those tools.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
